Event Details

Hosted at the lush and historic Garfield Park Conservatory, the 2008 Visionary Awards Gala features a silent auction, live entertainment, delicious beverages and gourmet hors d'oeuvres as well as an awards program. This event is RVA's chance to recognize Chicago community leaders for the work that they have done to educate the community and to support victims of sexual violence.  

Featured Silent Auction items include a Nintendo Wii, Cubs tickets, wine tastings, and more!

Your participation helps break the silence about sexual assault and raise funds for the essential services RVA provides in the Chicago metropolitan area!

Founded in 1974, Rape Victim Advocates (RVA) is an independent,not-for-profit organization dedicated to the healing and empowerment of sexual assault survivors through non-judgmental crisis intervention counseling; individual and group counseling; and medical and legal advocacy in the Chicago metropolitan area. RVA also provides public education and institutional advocacy in order to improve the treatment of sexual assault survivors and to effect positive changes in policies and public attitudes toward sexual assault.
